WEATHER

Bali’s wet season can affect conditions from November to March and Event Organisers (EO) are advised to plan accordingly for events.

EVENT SPACE

Ceremonies can be held on the pool deck area, while the lawn makes an ideal setting. However, we strongly suggest that EOs inspect this area prior to finalising arrangements to calculate the number of guests that can be accommodated.

REGULATIONS & RESTRICTIONS

The outdoor living and dining areas can be used for welcome drinks but should not be used as main event spaces. The furniture in these two areas should not be moved or removed and no additional furniture should be brought into these areas. Bedrooms are for the use of resident guests only and we recommend these to be locked during the course of any given event. Smoking is not permitted inside the house. Fireworks and/or Thai wishing lanterns are strictly forbidden. Marquees are allowed; however, these must be freestanding. No staging is to be built into or over the pool. Floating bamboo and foam structures for candles and flowers are permitted however they should be removed by the EO by 1am, or as soon as guests enter the pool, in order to avoid any damage or injury.

EVENT FACILITIES

KITCHEN

The villa’s kitchen is not to be used for an event. Caterers should set up a satellite kitchen by the pool or in the lower garden and must use a partition to screen off the area. We kindly ask catering companies to protect the surface with mats to minimise damage to the grass.

GUEST WASHROOM

There is one guest toilet at villa’s ground floor, just off the living room. It is the responsibility of the EO to supervise the cleanliness of this toilet during the event. Should an extra toilet be opened; it is the villa guests’ responsibility to ensure belongings in the bedrooms that remain open are stored safely.

PARKING

The is limited parking space at Villa Suami. Guests should be encouraged to use drivers or taxis for events at Villa Suami. This means that there is no parking on site for EO’s or suppliers. Vehicles are permitted for a one-hour period for loading and unloading but should be offsite at least one hour prior to the event
